Gregory G. Caronis, M.D.
Dr. Gregory G. Caronis, M.D. is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association. With over 18 years of private practice experience, Dr. Caronis continues in active clinical practice, specializing in foot and ankle disorders and fracture care as well as general orthopaedics. Over the past 10 years, Dr. Caronis has gained considerable experience in medical legal matters. He is effective at communicating with legal teams to prepare all levels of the legal process. Dr. Caronis’ valuable, evidence-based, objective opinions have proven valuable over many years for his many clients.
Education
Completing his medical education at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Dr. Gregory G. Caronis was a member of the six-year Honors Program in Medical Education, a vigorous curriculum that allowed him to complete his undergraduate and medical school education in six years, instead of the usual eight. He completed his residency training at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. His fellowship in foot and ankle surgery was at the distinguished Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Balance Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center in Long Beach, California. Most recently, Dr. Caronis continued his training with a mini-fellowship in trauma and fracture care, AO North America Trauma and Fracture Care Preceptorship, Regions Hospital, St. Paul, Minnesota.
